Hanging out at home

Leah is almost 5 months old now, and is really starting to become more and more fun every day! She rolls over both ways now, and is really getting good at this whole sitting up thing. We have been very busy, but also trying to soak up the time at home with our little Smushie, as we will both be back to school in a matter of weeks.  For now, the the Fasse Posse will enjoy every moment of family time.  

This was the very first time she sat up on her own on July 3. She looks confused, right? 

She LOVES her Jumperoo!

I got this onsie for Paul to tell him I was pregnant. This was the last time it fit Leah, so we had to have one final "tree hugger" pose. 

Pausing from play time to suck her thumb. This has been a very big thing lately.

Reading with Daddy. She adores books and flails her arms around and squeals when we pull one out.

In her highchair for the first time. Although she does not get anything but breastmilk yet, she will be eating cereal in a month, so we have had her joining us at the table when we eat. She likes the highchair and was blowing all kinds of bubbles at Daddy here. 

So happy to watch us cook from the kitchen floor.

Standing like a big girl, ready to go down to the city!

Leah adores being tickled and laughs out loud all the time now... and Paul is OBSESSED with making her giggle. 

One of her many Beatles outfits. She will be well trained in classic rock, that is for sure. We  sing Beatles songs to her all the time, and she has a Beatles Lullaby CD from her Auntie JP, too. 

I thought it would be a good idea to take a picture of Leah and some of her favorite things so we don't forget. Here she is with some of her fave books, toys she loves to chew on and play with, and her absolute obsession- "Baby Beluga". For anyone who is around us often, you know how much she adores the song.
